Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Framing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to advise on framing options, ensuring each piece is framed to the highest standard. You will have a strong eye for design, an understanding of framing techniques, and a passion for working with artwork and decorative pieces.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with clients to understand their framing needs and recommend suitable designs, materials, and finishes.
Provide expert guidance on mount choices, glass options, and conservation techniques.
Work closely with the workshop team to ensure framing projects are completed to the highest standards.
Handle and care for artwork and prints with precision and professionalism.
Manage orders from consultation to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
Maintain an organized and welcoming showroom environment.
Requirements:
Experience in picture framing, art consultancy, or a related field.
Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of conservation framing techniques (preferred but not essential).
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for art, craftsmanship, and high-quality presentation.
