Crown Fine Art, an expert in transportation, storage, installation and de-installation for museums and art galleries, Apprenticeship has become the first company in its sector to create an apprenticeship scheme from scratch and has appointed its first two apprentices. This happened last year but we only just found about it. Its really refreshing to see companies investing in their staff and community. Especially in a time when more and more employers seem to be asking for technicians to be trained to degree level, which is unnecessary if you have the hands on skills and experiences for the job. Perhaps its a bit of art world snobbery starting to creep in? Regardless -- Well done Crown Fine Art!
