ArtTechSpace welcomes you to come and see behind the scenes with Orbis Conservation. Founded in 2013 by Hans Thompson and Maxwell Malden, Orbis have since grown into a team of conservators, restorers, technicians and specialists, all driven by a commitment to the preservation of cultural heritage and to maintaining the skills of previous craftspeople and artists. Orbis has an ever-increasing appreciation and understanding of traditional conservation techniques as well as an enthusiasm for new technologies which allow for exciting advancements in the field. Offering the highest level of care and analysis, they build tailored and complete treatments following extensive research, for a diverse range of clients. With a particular interest in conserving public art and working with contemporary art, Orbis are currently working on some of the most exciting and innovative conservation and installation projects in the UK and you will be able to see some of these exciting projects in their studio in Greenwich, London on Thursday 6th June 2019. Have a look at their website http://orbisconservation.co.uk/ and their instagram page to get an idea of the fascinating things you will see https://www.instagram.com/orbis_conservation/ .
